What is helpful to know before and after your care to keep your treatment with, effective and restorative.

Before Your Appointment

Two Weeks Before

  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner

  • Pause waxing, tweezing, and threading (shaving is fine)

  • Keep skin hydrated and supported with gentle skincare

  • Avoid introducing new or active products (retinoids, acids)

Day Before

  • Shave the treatment area carefully

  • Skip lotions, oils, or self-tanner

  • Keep skin simple and well hydrated

Day Of

Please arrive with clean, product-free skin

We may need to reschedule if:

  • Skin is sunburned or recently tanned

  • There are open cuts, irritation, or active skin conditions

  • You’ve recently waxed or tweezed the area

  • There is heavy product, oil, or self-tanner on the skin

After Your Treatment

First 24 Hours

  • Keep skin cool and undisturbed

  • Avoid heat: hot showers, saunas, workouts

  • Skip active skincare (retinoids, acids, exfoliants)

  • Apply aloe or a gentle, restorative moisturizer if needed

Ongoing Care

  • Use SPF daily on treated areas exposed to sun

  • Avoid picking or exfoliating too soon

  • Shedding will occur over the next 1–2 weeks — this is expected

  • Stay consistent with your treatment schedule for best results
